Macaque Chief Apramana Bat Insipred from Shanxi Gaoping Iron Buddha Temple

Located in Gaoping, N China’s Shanxi, Tiefo Temple was named after an iron-made Buddha statue during Jin Dynasty (1115-1234). Though the statue was long lost, the temple has kept 27 sculptures of deities built over the past centuries and retained its solemnity.
